What types of skip bins do you offer?
We provide mobile skip bin hire in Kingston and surrounding areas. Our 4m³ trailer-mounted skip bins are easy to deliver and position on your property. We offer packages for general waste, green waste and building waste, with clear guidelines on accepted items and surcharge details.
How much waste can go into a skip bin?
Each skip bin includes up to 400kg of waste in the hire fee. Extra waste is charged at $22 per 100kg or part thereof, with a maximum load of 1100kg per bin. For safety, asbestos, flammable materials and paint cannot be disposed of. Tyres and mattresses can be added for $45 per item.
What plant hire equipment do you provide?
Our plant hire services cover a range of equipment to support residential, rural and small-scale construction projects. Options include:
- Car trailers for vehicle and load transport
- Mini excavators for digging and trenching
- Ride on mowers and slashers for acreage and paddock maintenance
How much does mini excavator hire cost?
Our mini excavator hire includes a 1.7t Kubota fitted with a tilt hitch, mud bucket, digging bucket and trailer. Pricing is $220 + GST per day or $350 + GST per weekend. Attachments such as a ripper, log grab, auger or spreader bar are available from $50 per day. The excavator can also be hired with a driver if required.
Do you deliver and pick up the equipment?
Yes, we can deliver and collect both skip bins and plant hire equipment throughout our service areas, including Kingston, Blackmans Bay, Bruny Island, Huonville, Margate and Sandfly. Alternatively, some equipment can be towed away on supplied trailers.
What if I’ve never used this type of equipment before?
That’s not a problem. Our team will provide a full handover, explain safe operation, and answer any questions before you get started. If you’d rather not operate the equipment yourself, the mini excavator can also be hired with a driver.
